The Work
Studio by Carli · Costa Rica
These works were developed as a limited series between 2003 and 2006 through the convergence of botanical photography, naturally fallen wood, and internal illumination.
They were not conceived as lamps in the conventional sense, but as illuminated sculptural objects in which image, structure, and atmosphere form a single body.
Collected from the natural world, photographed, printed, and brought into light, the work moves between material presence and inner radiance. By day, each piece holds its sculptural and architectural character. By night, the internal light shifts the image and activates a different field of experience.
Each work remains physically grounded, materially resolved, and singular in presence.
